In this session, we will explore Padlet’s core features and walk through example activities. We will also cover how to adapt activities previously done in Flipgrid for use in Padlet. In this session participants will learn how to use Nightshade, an "offensive" tool developed at the University of Chicago, that artists can use to "poison" their images before uploading them to the internet. Participants will also explore the intersections of topics such as copyright, data poisoning, "generativity", statistical mimesis, and agonism through a group discussion.

In recent years, the commercial and recreational use of drones has seen remarkable growth, as the capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have grown in surprising ways.  We'll discuss how drone tech has evolved in the last 10 years since we put on the first-and-only drone workshop at the FTI.  There will also be a live demo for some hands-on experience.
