Learn how to take control of your Moodle course using features like Restrict Access and Activity Completion to streamline your page, automate content release, reduce clutter, and custom tailor what individual students see. We'll explore how to “hide” topics until they’re needed, simplify navigation, and create a more intentional experience -helping students stay focused while giving you more control behind the scenes.

Padlet is a versatile, virtual bulletin board used for collecting student responses, sharing media, and encouraging collaboration—both in and outside the classroom. In this session, we will explore Padlet’s core features and walk through example activities. We will also cover how to adapt activities previously done in Flipgrid for use in Padlet. Whether for discussion, reflection, or creative assignments, you’ll see how Padlet can easily fit into your teaching toolkit.

Moodle supports several methods for collecting student work. In this session, we’ll focus on the assignment activity, and explore the features of a discussion forum. You will learn what types of student work each tool is best suited for—whether it’s essays, reflections, collaborative work, file uploads, or multimedia projects—and how to set them up in a way that’s easy for students to use.
