Google Classroom added a new student group feature during the 2024-25 school year.  In this 45-minute hands-on online session, we’ll explore how to create, edit, and use groups both to assist with classroom management, support collaboration, and meet diverse student needs. You’ll leave with practical ideas for using groups in your classes and maybe even a few ready-to-go groups. 

Zoom sessions generate a lot of valuable content—but managing it can be a challenge. This session will cover best practices for organizing, storing, and sharing recordings, chats, and transcripts. We’ll also discuss file retention and storage options. Learn how to simplify your post-session workflow and ensure your materials stay accessible and secure.

Moodle supports several methods for collecting student work. In this session, we’ll focus on the assignment activity, and explore the features of a discussion forum. You will learn what types of student work each tool is best suited for—whether it’s essays, reflections, collaborative work, file uploads, or multimedia projects—and how to set them up in a way that’s easy for students to use.
